SPINNER, named after the acrobatic spinner dolphins found in Kona waters, is a classic 31' Bertram Sportfisherman. Designed by Ray Hunt and built by Richard Bertram, the 31 was in production for 25 years and is considered one of the most famous modern boat designs ever built. 

SPINNER was built in 1969 and completely renovated by Captain Tom Bottrell in 1997 specifically for whale watching and sport fishing off the Kona Coast of Hawaii. 

SPINNER features twin Detroit Diesel engines; a spotting/observation tower; fish/mammal locating sonar; a shaded, open cabin area with restroom; VHF and CB radios; GPS satellite navigation; cellular phone; fighting chair and Penn International fishing equipment. 

SPINNER is a safe and comfortable boat that meets or exceeds all of the United States Coast Guard safety regulations.
